Information on client I am posting

It is a FREE client. It contains an updater which updates whenever Notch does.

I have cracked the old minecraft launcher. I will never update this again if it is stopped, nor will I release the source. I did this for a friend who wanted to try minecraft before spending $20 USD on it. He later the same day did buy. After sharing this, I saw many people have bought minecraft after this for the sake of being able to change their skin, and login to online play. Just note, this is not stealing, as nobody looses anything. This is simply pirating a copy

Hey Yeah i'm getting the same error as the guy above, i really want to start playing minecraft a bit and i can't find a link to a free client so if you could re-upload this one or if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be good..

You need to update your video card drivers to support OpenGL.

i run with batch file and that screen shows error
the minecraft screen just shows the mojang logo and then freezes

It will freeze. Just give it a few minutes. I suggest looking up tutorials on how to speed up games for your computer.

To get updates from Notch, you must click the Force update option before running Minecraft, this however removes all edits you've done to minecraft.jar and you will have to do it again.

Yes, I've just discovered that with the new update.
The mod didn't work anyways, so I just wasted 10 minutes of my life >.<

Known problems: You will get a "Cannot find class Mainloader" error. This is not a permanent error (or it may just be me). Simply run Minecraft.exe AGAIN (after closing the error window) to run the game. If you get the error again, keep trying.

Same error, I just couldn't remember it exactly.
